Tundra (click to see picture) with speeds of about 40 mph. Because the arctic hare has so many adaptations to the brisk conditions of the Tundra, it does not hibernate. In the winter, the hare is white, to blend in with the snow, and in the summer it turns a blue-ish brown color.
